So much has happened since the last time I posted, one of which being, within two weeks I have now unexpectedly moved to a new place (CRAZY!!!). This explains why I haven’t posted for more than a week (eeeek! Sorry guys)

I am now also back at college, and there are so many new projects that I am undertaking (more exciting news on this later 😉 ).  On top of all the craziness, I am now currently in Melbourne, finally getting some needed time away.

Just before the sunny weather comes to a halt and Autumn settles in, I thought I would sneak one more cheeky summer outfit post.

I have always stayed away from wearing maxi dresses because of the fact that I thought it made me look shorter than I already am. But once I tried one on, my insecurities went out the window and now it is one of my favourite things to wear for sunny weather.
I love how you can wear it to a casual BBQ and dress it up for a dinner date with your favourite person.
I was fortunate enough to get this baby on sale, the pastel floral prints had me at hello and I had to have it.

Next month will be Fashiondiction’s 1 year birthday WOOT WOOT!
Be sure to stay tuned because I’ll be posting some really exciting stuff to celebrate 🙂 !!!!!

Thanks for visiting and I’ll catch you guys and girls soon 😉

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE!!!

I love 60s fashion so much that I just couldn’t help but do a part 2 of the 60s swimwear inspired outfit post.
Just like in part 1, I mixed and matched the bikini bottoms from American Apparel and bikini top from Victoria’s Secret.
The bright floral prints and eccentric summer colours have summer fun all over it and this is exactly why it is one of my favourite things to wear to the beach.

As you’ve guessed from my greeting, it’s Australia day here down under!!!
It’s the one day in Australia that we celebrate being truly Aussie; going to the beach, having BBQs with the fam bams, meeting up with loved ones and pretty much spending all day in the sun.

With that said, I’m going to keep it short and sweet today but wherever you are, in Australia or not, I hope your are having an awesome weekend 🙂

Thanks for visiting and I’m looking forward to catching up with you on Tuesday with a new outfit post 😉

Now it’s no secret that I am in love with 60s fashion. If you haven’t already guessed from seeing the 60s inspired photoshoot I styled last year, I have a lot of clothes that have a 60s resemblance and that doesn’t excuse the swimwear I have hiding in my closet.

For years I had constantly been on the search to finding high-waisted swimwear, it wasn’t particularly popular at the time (people did say it reminded them of their grandmothers). But to me, I saw it as classic, elegant and most importantly it covered my incredibly deep belly button (no really, I’m not just saying that, it is seriously a deep looking belly button hahaha!).
It wasn’t until, my trip to America, that I had finally found bottoms that were perfect! Of course I had found it in American Apparel, one of my favourite clothing brands, which usually has fun, youthful and modern fashion.
I mixed and matched the bottoms with a cute bikini top from Victoria’s Secret, that I had also scored in America. This top was the perfect balance of cute and playful, not to mention it fits like a dream!

I don’t usually wear lipstick or make up to the beach hahahaha! I thought it would just be fun to include it in this post and to pay homage to 60s fashion.

Thanks again for visiting and stay tuned for part 2 😉
